We obtain our high-grade raw products from South America, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In Argentina Valio runs its own cattle farm. Our suppliers are market leaders in their fields of specialisation and they meet the most stringent international requirements by means of continuous independent quality control.

As a closed system, the chain of production – from breeding to processing and packing all under one roof – is fully traceable. Naturally, all products are EU-certified.

Argentina

Valio also operates its own natural farm in the legendary cattle country. Many gourmets insist that Argentine beef is the world’s best.

Brazil

Natural surroundings and plenty of room to graze are ideal breeding grounds for poultry and cattle. Nature provides everything that the animals need – no feed additives are necessary.

Patagonia‘s vastness offers the best climatic conditions for breeding lamb and rabbits. Importing these allows us to enlarge our seasonal product range.

From Australia’s natural intact forests and pastures Valio obtains game of incomparable taste, such as wild boar and venison.

In Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and China, countries providing a broad culinary variety, we produce poultry, fish and diverse protein products in our partner companies with state-of-the-art technology.

Game and lamb are raised for Valio in beautiful surroundings in this green dreamland at the end of the world. Quality which one can taste.

South Africa
